FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 PM, Monday, May 18, 2009 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel, Chesterfield, SC.

INTERMENT: will follow in the Westfield Creek Baptist Church Cemetery

VISITATION: 4:00 - 6:00 PM, Sunday May 17, 2009 at the funeral home

HISTORY: Mrs. Brock was born January 10, 1918 in Chesterfield County, SC a daughter of the late W.W. and Sally Atkinson Pressley. She was a homemaker and member of Douglas Mill Baptist Church. Bessie was married to the late Samuel W. Brock and was also preceded in death by 1 son, Samuel William Brock, 1 daughter, Sarah Berniece Brock and by 6 brothers and 2 sisters.

2 Sons: James Vernon (Iva) Brock of Kannapolis, NC, and Harold Dean (Lou) Brock of Richfield, NC
2 Daughters: Mary B. (Eddie) Terry of Rockingham, NC, and Shirley Anne Barnes of the home
15 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren, and 9 Great Great Grandchildren
