HISTORY: Mrs. McGowan was born September 11, 1934, in Hurley, SD, a daughter of the late Phillip Peters and Blanche Evans Peters Nape. She was a homemaker and a former truck driver. Bea was a member of the Eastern Star in Lakewood, Ohio. In addition to her parents, Bea was also preceded in death by her husband, Patrick McGowan.

1 Son: Kenneth Du Bois of Chesterfield, SC
1 Daughter: Deb Davis of Wallace, SC
