VISITATION: 2:00 — 3:00 PM, Sunday, prior to the service in the church fellowship hall

INTERMENT: to follow in the Ruby Cemetery

HISTORY: Mrs. Thurman was born October 10, 1928 in Chesterfield, SC, a daughter of the late James Alfred "Buck" and Blanche Teal Rivers. She was a graduate of Chesterfield High School and was a homemaker. Azalee enjoyed going to yard sales and auctions, and taking care of her family. She was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church and attended Ruby Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Azalee was preceded in death by 2 sons, Kenneth T. Thurman, Sr. and Gerald Wayne Thurman, and by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Husband of 64 years: Charles Thurman of the home.
3 Sons: James Charles (Linda) Thurman and Luke Thurman of Ruby, SC, and Walter "Buster" (Tina) Thurman of Simpsonville, SC
2 Daughters: Patricia A. Thurman of Chesterfield, SC and Mary "Charlie" (David) Deese of Ruby, SC
Daughter-in-law: Brenda L. Thurman of Ruby, SC
Also: 6 Grandchildren 5 Great Grandchildren and a number of Nieces and Nephew
