Mr. Arthur Jerome Hyatt Jr., age 79, entered into rest on Thursday, April 9, 2020. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.

Mr. Hyatt was born August 27, 1940 in Brooklyn, NY a son of the late Arthur Jerome Hyatt Sr. and Margaret Sullivan Hyatt. Arthur was retired from the United States Army where he proudly served his country. Arthur served his country in the Vietnam war. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hyatt was also preceded in death by his son; Gregory Hyatt, sister; Barbara Hyatt Esposito, and brothers; Edward Hyatt and Michael Hyatt.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Gertrude Schnarr Hyatt of the home; son, Arthur Hyatt III of Bel Aire, MD; daughters, Debbie (Chip) Wedekind of Chesterfield and Susan Rieger of Pennsylvania; brothers, William (Maryann) Hyatt of Florida and Kevin (Elizabeth) Hyatt of Florida; sisters, Lenore (Peter) Digregorio of Pennsylvania and Margaret (Paul) Chaves of Florida; 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
