Annie Margaret Dixon

Chesterfield, SC

Mrs. Annie Margaret Dixon, age 62, entered into rest on Friday morning, September 4, 2026 at her home. A Celebration of Life service will be at 5:00 PM Sunday, September 6, 2026 from the chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Pastor Mike Parnell. The family will receive friends from 4:00-5:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Dixon was born on June 9, 1964 in Darlington, SC the daughter of the late Theron and Ruby Lee Truett Teal. Annie was a faithful and devoted member of Children’s Baptist Church. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she found comfort and guidance in regularly reading her Bible. Annie had a genuine love for reading and enjoyed filling her time with books and anything that allowed her to learn and explore new things. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren, who held a very special place in her heart.

In addition to her parents, Annie was preceded in death by her brother, Buddy Teal.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, David Dixon of the home; children, David R. (Ashley) Dixon of Florence, SC, Theron (Cindy) Dixon of Hartsville, SC, Kimberly (Richard) Hatfield of Bethune, SC; grandchildren, Hanna, Abagail, Jace, Wyatt, James, Emily; siblings, Edward Teal, Sydney (Mary) Teal, Ricky (Darlene) Teal, Teresa Knotts, Dannie Matinez, Avery Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
