DECEASED: Mr. Amos Lynn Horton, age 76, died Wednesday, June 25, 2014.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 11:00 AM, Friday, June 27, 2014 at Fork Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery

VISITATION: will be immediately following the service in the Webster Hall of the Church

HISTORY: Mr. Horton was born April 25, 1938 in Jefferson, SC, a son of the late Coyt and Christine Lynn Horton. He was former owner of Amos Horton Grading and was a U. S. Navy Veteran. Amos was a member of Fork Creek United Methodist Church. He was also a member of Macedonia Masonic Lodge 239 and a member of the Jamil Shrine Temple. In addition to his parents, Amos was also preceded in death by a son, Christopher Dale Horton, a brother, Jimmy Lynn, and a sister, Joan Hilton.

8 Grandchildren: Joe (Ashlee) Horton, Jessica (Scott) Brubeck, Emily (Lee) Boone, Hillary Horton, Jake (Lacey) Horton, Abigail Horton, Hunter Horton, and Madison Horton. 3 Great Grandchildren: Chance Horton, Waylon Brubeck, and Brooke Boone
2 Brothers: Johnnie (Betty) Lynn of Jefferson, SC and Jackie (Sue) Lynn of Greenville, SC
