HISTORY: Mr. Louis Alan Davis was born November 22, 1952, in Chesterfield, SC, a son of the late Betty Ruth Davis Evans. He was owner and operator of A & D Mechanical Services. Mr. Davis was a U.S. Army Veteran in the 82nd Airborne Division, and was a member of First Baptist Church of York SC. Alan was a hard worker and a good provider for his family. In his spare time, he enjoyed yard sales, reading, spending time with his grandchildren, collecting pocket knifes, and sharing them as gifts with his sons-in-law and grandson, and was a true "Fix-it-Man"

6 Grandchildren: Peyton, Carter, and Drew Morrison, Chloe and Blakely Good, and Sadie Fishman.
1 Uncle: Clyde E. "Buster" Davis of Chesterfield, SC
2 Aunts: Sarah D. Polson of Cheraw, SC and Ann D. (Bob) Bellamy of Myrtle Beach, SC.
