She was a homemaker who had the spiritual gift of hospitality and was a faithful member of Rocky Creek Presbyterian Church for over 73 years. A lady with a true servant’s heart, Lucy served the Lord in numerous capacities throughout the years at her church. Mrs. Simpson loved to cook and was known for her caramel iced pound cakes. She enjoyed gardening and her goal each year was to can enough vegetables to last for two years.
