Mr. Billy Ronald “Ronnie” Privette, age 73, entered into rest on Sunday, September 23, 2018 with his family by his bedside. Funeral Services will be 5:00 PM Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Ruby Baptist Church by Pastor Ronald Thurman with burial to follow in the Ruby Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.
Mr. Privette was born September 22, 1945 in Wadesboro, NC a son of the late Levine Isaac and Nancy Ruth Jordan Privette. He attended Ruby High School and retired as Maintenance Supervisor with Conbraco Industries with 32 years of service. Mr. Privette also served in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. Ronnie was an active member of Ruby Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, farming, and watching football. Ronnie was a true family man and will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, David, William “Bill”, and Jerry Privette.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 51 years, Dianne Deese Privette of the home; 2 children, Rhonda (Philip) Dean of Simpsonville, SC, and Rodney (Emily) Privette of Cheraw, SC; 3 grandchildren, Ryan and Nathan Dean of Simpsonville, SC, and Greyson Privette of Cheraw, SC; brothers, Tommy Privette of Morven, NC, Larry (Brenda) Privette of Albemarle, NC, Mike (Debbie) Privette of Ruby, SC, and Alvin (Kay) Privette of Wadesboro, NC; sister, Tammy Timmons of Columbia, SC; sisters-in-law, Rachel Jeffcoat and Cathy Privette; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
